Job Summary

We areseeking a Downstream Strategist to join the Fuels Strategy &Capital Planning Department. This department is responsible fordeveloping the strategy of the Fuels Business Unit (BU) managingcapital identifying portfolio synergies and optimizationopportunities and conducting financial managementactivities.

As a Downstream Strategist yourprimary role will be to serve as the subject matter expert inDownstream strategy and scenario planning.

You will act as the BUAdvisor for Downstream businessrelated issues providing independentresearch on a wide range of topics that explore longterm scenariosimpacting the BUs competitive advantage.

Additionally you will prepare research special studies andanalyses as required for the Strategic Council and other CorporateCommittees.

This role requires a deep understanding of Downstreamoperations and the ability to contribute strategic insights thatalign with corporate objectives and enhance businessperformance.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Serve as subject matter expert in Downstream strategy andscenario planning.
• Prepare research specialstudies and market analysis as required for the Downstream StrategyCouncil and other Corporate and Downstream Committees.

Thesereports and market analysis will feed into the development ofscenarios.

• Collaborate in a group ofstrategists responsible for articulating the overall Fuels BUstrategy as well as the formulation of outlookscenarios.
• Collaborate in a group ofstrategists and planners responsible for the development of theFuels BU longterm strategic plans including capital / resourceallocation plans.
• Build a strong relationshipwith think tanks and industry experts to stay updated on keydevelopments in the Downstream business globally as well as otherarenas impacting This Companys Downstream competitive performance.

This includes developments in technology geopolitics regulationsSaudi governments plans and the Downstream industry ingeneral.

Independently initiate research onwideranging topics that explore longterm scenarios potentiallyimpacting the Companys competitive advantage in the Downstreambusiness.

Requirements :

• Willingness to relocate toDhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Hold aBachelors degree in Engineering Economics Business AdministrationAccounting Financial Management or closely related specialty.

Anadvanced degree is preferred.

Have 15 years ofexperience in a combination of refining chemicals trading andretail marketing business with at least 5 years in strategyformulation scenario planning and / or strategic planning.
