National Vice President, Water & Wastewater

The Opportunity :
At WSP, we envision the Water & Wastewater (W&WW) sector as a sea of opportunities. We’re seeking a Vice President, Water & Wastewater, to lead our diverse team of 300+ members.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, you’ll foster growth in the W&WW sector, build customer relationships, enhance financial performance, and contribute to our goals.
Your innovative leadership and technical expertise will drive our strategic plan and create an inclusive environment where all team members are engaged and excited about the opportunities in this market.
What you can expect to do here :
- Unite and Lead : Guide the work of Vice-Presidents and Directors, bringing national teams together to support all business growth objectives.
- Drive Growth : Leverage your W&WW expertise and client networks to fuel our business growth.
- Team Builder : Lead and develop key team members, aligning resources for our W&WW sector.
- Strategic Acquirer : Use your market knowledge to identify potential acquisitions for WSP Global.
- Strategize and Forecast : Develop operating plans and financial forecasts in collaboration with the business line executive and the finance leader.
- Implement and Excel : Lead the implementation of the operating plan and its objectives, focusing on people development, client relations, project delivery excellence, quality, and financial performance.
- Mitigate and Deliver : Direct Leaders on measures to mitigate project performance issues and risks, ensuring successful delivery on contractual commitments and financial targets to meet client expectations and exceed profitability targets.
- Engage and Retain : Foster a high-performance culture and complete integration to a one WSP culture, ensuring a high degree of employee engagement and low turnover of staff.
- Optimize and Profit : Optimize financial performance including net revenue, operating margin, and DSO (receivables).
- Collaborate and Satisfy : Work with peers nationally and globally to leverage technical expertise, ensure client satisfaction, and implement best practices.
- Prioritize and Uphold : Ensure that WSP programs of health, safety & environment; and ethics & compliance are an overriding part of the organizational culture

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations) : Starting at $174,750
WSP Canada is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it will pay for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to the specific geographic location.
