- Should haveCommand level experience to perform offline configuration
- Must visit Datacenter perform Rack& Stack for new devices.
- Strong knowledge on routing andswitching Load balancerconcepts.
- Responsible forInstallation configuration and troubleshooting of network productslike Router switches load balancers WAN Acceleratorsetc.
- Knowledge and hands onexperience (Configuring and Troubleshooting) in cisco Nexus devicesand its concepts.
- Switching& PortChannel Suspended state STP RSTP RSTP convergesfaster than STP STP Port Roles STP Blocking State BPDU STP PathCost Value TCN in RSTP Port Roles in RSTP HSRP and VRRP Loadbalancing HSRP and VRRP Vlanredundancy.
- Practical knowledge onNexus Devises such as Nexus 7k Nexus9k.
- Strong knowledge on NexusPlatform VPC VDC LACP VPC Peering FEX Fabric Path VSS VLAN AccessList Vlan (L2 L3) Spanningtree VRF ContextRoutemap
- Expertise in Routingprotocols like RIP OSPF EIGRP and BGP.
- Managing and monitoring of logfiles of cisco network devices
- Actively participate in all theMajor Incidents.
- Ensure propercommunication and quick resolution
- Responsible for performing RootCause Analysis of Faults and providing corrective Actions
- Regular IOS Updation and hotfixes
- Responsible for implementing bestpractice / hardening.
- Planning Majorchanges in the network and own the task till closure.
- Capacity planning of the networkdevices with proper recommendations.
- Providing Service Improvement Plansin the existing setup identifying Risks.
- Preparation of Daily / Weekly / Monthlyreports
- Escalation and coordinationwith service provider for issue resolution wherever required.
- Prepare and maintain Setup relateddocumentation operational and system documentation
- Ensure adherence to quality / security standards defined for the engagement Perform Trendanalysis identify top few incidents and work with respectiveteams / individual to minimize the incidents.
- Should have hands on experience invarious networking products such as routers switches wireless andload balancers.
- Knowledge of DNSDHCP and related components.
- AAApolicies SNMP and other Router Management options.
- Experience in configuring Trunk VTPand VLANs
- Experience inimplementing switch port security.
- Experience in configuringIPSEC / GRE.
- Able to workindependently and efficiently on Cisco APs
- Develop and maintainarchitecture diagrams and documents.
