Controller

Enseri is searching for a Controller for a company located near North Etobicoke. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and excellent at establishing internal controls for multiple entities across 2 different countries.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while following ASPE standards
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting efforts
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, financial statements
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance Complete monthly consolidation processes
• Quarterly bank and parent company reporting
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that drive business decisions and performance improvement
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior year.
• Manage audit, tax compliance, and reporting.
• Complete US government reporting as required
• Maintain, develop, and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks
• Prepare for and lead financial audits.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
