Job description
The Registered Dietitian reports to the Manager, Professional Practitioner.
Accountabilities :
- Provide nutrition intervention and education to patients
- Work within the patient care team
- Participate in project work as required
Job qualifications
- Academic preparation from an accredited Canadian university program in food and nutrition or equivalent
- Practical training in an accredited practical dietetic internship program in Canada or equivalent
- Member in good standing (good character and conduct) with the College of Dietitians of Ontario is required
- Language proficiency in English required
- Record of ethical and competent practice
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in acute medicine preferred
- Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration
- Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
- Travel between and work at all Osler sites may be required

Hours : Currently days / evenings, 8 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
