Finance Manager, Corporate Finance

• Manage full cycle of accounting: revenue expenses payroll treasury and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate month end closing including performing bank reconciliations posting month-end general journals and reconciling balance sheet schedules.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packages including but not limited to financial results reporting trend and variance analysis financial modeling and projections etc.
• Perform routine tax tasks such as income tax provision calculation (deferred and current) and monthly sales tax returns preparation.
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and assist with quarter end and year end auditors review and audit of financial statements.
• Review and reconcile employee expense reports.
• Support continuous improvement and automation/productivity initiatives within the overall finance function.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of policies and procedures and able to collaborate with Compliance and Sales Teams to meet internal and regulatory requirements.

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting with strong technical skills and IFRS knowledge CPA designation is required.
• Working knowledge with Canadian taxes: income taxes sales taxes and payroll taxes etc.
• Experience within the asset management industry is an asset.
• Well versed with Microsoft Excel coding with macros/VBA is an asset.
• Analytical and logical thinking.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Great attention to detail.
• Eager to learn and self-motivated.
