Apex Systems is a large staffing and consulting firm seeking a Database Developer experienced in Snowflake, Python, Shell Scripting, and strong SQL skills to place at a top 5 Financial Institution client.

Client : Big Five Bank

Contract : 6‑month contract (potential for extension or conversion to FTE)

Location : Toronto, Downtown Core (remote 2 days per week)

Key Qualifications

• Database Developer with 5+ years of experience in Snowflake
• Strong experience in SQL database development
• Query tuning and optimization skills
• Good Python scripting knowledge
• Knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technology
• Exposure to AI functions or experience building AI‑based tools (nice to have)
• Experience with asset / wealth management data (nice to have)
• Excellent team player
