We will count on you to :

Work closely with offshore team to ensure smooth transition of work handover

Deep understanding of distributed replica sets and shards of MongoDB to always ensure redundancy.

Hands on experience on upgrade of Mongo Databases to higher versions

Take complex codes and break them down logically for end-user understanding.

Compute solutions to data problems in a timely manner with techniques that offer long-term success

Research industry best practices in emerging technologies and implement into database design.

Maintain an open and optimistic point of view to build broad systems that provide dependable and customized usage to multiple end-users.

Provide recommendations for performance tuning and improvements to existing databases

What you need to have :

At least 4 to 5 years of DBA position working with MongoDB technology. PostgreSQL experience will be good to have along with other database technologies.

Planning and executing on strategic database activities including resolution capabilities of more complex issues

Experienced in performance tuning.

Fine-tune configurations MongoDB and servers for performance improvement

Implement optimal backup and recovery

Automate the database repetitive tasks..

Experience working with mongo Atlas.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of Audit, Security and Encryption at rest

Hands on experience with MongoDB Installation & Configuration in Docker environment

Experience in implementing multi-data center replica set and shards in Linux environment.

Ops Manager : implementation, monitoring, backup, and automation.

Setup of alerts in Ops Manager

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge and DevOps practices such as automation, CI / CD. will be good to have as well as some python scripting
