Job Title : Senior Integration Program Manager

Role Overview : Apex Systems is working with their technology client to oversee the end-to-end integration of their IT systems into a new infrastructure. The Integration Program Manager will ensure the seamless alignment of IT workstreams, including enterprise applications, infrastructure, data & reporting, and security, to meet business objectives and support the transition.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage the overall IT integration project plan, ensuring timely execution of key milestones.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align integration activities with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple workstreams (Security, Infrastructure, Data & Reporting, IT Compliance, etc.) to ensure integration projects are aligned and executed on schedule.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across IT workstreams.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, potential roadblocks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure resource allocation across workstreams, including vendor management and third-party contractors.
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration across departments to ensure business continuity during the integration.
  • Implement change management best practices to ensure a smooth transition for all involved parties.
  • Oversee all 8 project workflows, listed below.

Workflows :

Enterprise Application :

  • Define current and target state of the application portfolio to support operations.
  • Plan and execute the migration of the ERP system to Epicor.
  • Rationalize legacy applications to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • ERP Upgrade :

  • Plan and execute the migration of the legacy ERP system to Epicor to streamline operations.
  • Ensure the upgrade aligns with SOX 2026 audit compliance requirements and other regulatory standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and system functionality before go-live.
  • Infrastructure and Network :

  • Ensure secure integration of remote locations into the central network for seamless operations.
  • Assess current infrastructure for compatibility with cloud solutions.
  • Plan for network consolidation.
  • Security :

  • Conduct a comprehensive current-state security assessment to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Implement user identity and access management protocols.
  • Update security policies to reflect modern risks and best practices in alignment with compliance standards.
  • Data and Reporting :

  • Identify and prioritize day 1 reporting requirements.
  • Develop current and target state data architecture.
  • Ensure data governance and integrity to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • IT Compliance :

  • Review and ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and internal audit standards.
  • Implement controls necessary for SOX and other regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly monitor and audit systems to maintain compliance and address gaps.
  • People and Organization :

  • Define the target state for workforce organization to align with future state operations.
  • Ensure proper workforce planning to support the new technology environment.
  • Manage change and provide training for employees as they transition to new systems and processes.
  • Legacy ERP Contract :

  • Maintain legacy ERP until new ERP implementation is successful.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiations.
  • Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in IT project management, specifically in integration projects with company mergers or acquisitions.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise applications, infrastructure, data management, and IT security.
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management , with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Experience with change management and risk management practices.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
