Team Shabodi is enabling the ecosystem of next-gen applications and looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager, reporting to the Chief Product Office, to join our rapidly growing team!We are a well-funded, institutionally backed startup led by a team of former industry heavyweights from Cisco, Juniper Networks, Nortel, EY and Macquarie Group with two start-up exits and 4 patents under our belts.

You are ideally Very strong TEAM PLAYER with good technical skills and even better (shall we say legendary?) interpersonal skillsVery strong ability to influence / lead others to adopt your ideas, with ability to compromise, build consensus and avoid conflictExceptional communication skills verbal, written and presentation with ability to create and present narratives in Powerpoint and WordExcellent understanding of Agile and Jira, with ability to translate narratives into Jira artefacts including Initiatives, Epics and Stories understanding that enabling the team development / engineering, test and operations to be more effective is a critical outcomeA high-performance thinker with a strong work ethic and sound judgement(strong) knowledge of cellular networking technologies including 5G and 4G, along with other advanced networking (Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, Ethernet, DOCSIS)Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer / Network / Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Business MBA would be a bonus7-10 years of experience, including direct experience in leading and developing products in wireless, telecom or networking industriesWhat you’ll do Create narratives for Shabodi’s Portal and API products, translating into roadmaps which are further reflected in release and sprint plansSocialize roadmaps with sales, marketing, engineering teams and customers, partners and other external stakeholdersWork with sales, marketing, partners and customers to translate product feedback into action via roadmap and sprint plansPrepare Powerpoint presentations to clearly communicate product plans and details to constituent groupsRepresent Shabodi in relevant external standards groups (CAMARA, O-RAN, TMFORUM) to not only aid in Shabodi’s contributions but to ensure Shabodi’s products align, remain compliant and meet needs to stakeholdersDrive the roadmap and plans for Shabodi’s Administrative and developer portalsDeveloper programsSandboxAPIsHow you’ll do it (skills, knowledge & experience) Must have skills, knowledge and / or experience : Team fit understand the team’s culture and adapt behaviours to make the team betterRelationship builder create lasting linkages with peopleAdaptability able to move between tasks quickly and easily, ensuring top priorities are addressed at all timesExcel, Powerpoint, Word, Confluence, Jira ability to communicate at high and low levels, and with diverse audiences, using a variety of toolsYAML, Swagger, GIT from initial creation / specification of APIs to presentation of APIs to potential developers and / or customersProduct Management you are a product manager, have done the job before, now the processes and proceduresSkills, knowledge and / or experience that would be a benefit : Worked within a telco, a service provider or a network equipment provider, preferably directly in the 4G / 5G spaceWorked with standards groupsLed development of a startup / scaleup product and team, preferably within a startup company, but could also be within a large companyUnderstanding of realtime vs non-realtimeUnderstanding of application development, and how developers get their jobs doneWhat’s in it for you Chance to work on the ground level at a fast-growing CAD scale-up that is a global market leader in its spaceEnjoy working like an entrepreneur?
