On behalf of our client in the Government Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior Technology Architect.

Senior Technology Architect Job Description

Develops, recommends, implements and manages the technical and security architectures (hardware, software, database and communications) which will be used for all or specific applications in a large, distributed cross-platform environment

Senior Technology Architect Mandatory Skills

Leadership experience in the development and implementation of technical and security architectures at the specified experience level

Extensive experience with at least three different platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, and communications protocols

Experience with middleware and gateways

Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments

Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development and implementation of applications

Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments

Knowledge and experience designing processes around ITIL and is able to guide others using this methodology

Experience translating business requirements into reporting needs

Experience preparing conceptual, logical and / or physical architectures.

Awareness of emerging technologies, trends and directions

Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills

A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines

Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g., models)

Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g., models) based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes and practice

Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Content Management (Open Text ECM applications)

Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices

Architecture Expertise & Experience - 70%

Extensive knowledge and experience with the following technology stack : Siebel CRM, Oracle Policy Automation (OPA), Oracle Identity Manager and Oracle Internet Directory (OIM / OID), Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP), e-Business Suite (eBS), IBM BAW

Experience in cloud computing and cloud Technologies.

Proven experience with web application frameworks, Microservices architectures, Java frameworks, Angular Applications, Springboot, Spring security, Component Based Web UI, Kubernetes

Experience in designing cloud-based applications with an emphasis on cloud security and personal data privacy

Experience with Authentication and Authorization, including OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML 2.0

Architecture Skills & Capabilities- 30%

Proven experience in conducting technical assessments of logical, physical architecture. Ensuring full compliance with standards and guidelines

Knowledge and expertise with various architecture frameworks such as Zachman, principles, guidelines and standards Extensive experience in systems analysis, integration and implementation in large systems environments

Awareness of emerging technologies, trends and directions

Experience with various patterns, architectural designs, domain models

Identify robust tools for various methodology and techniques

Identification and experience with different integration techniques, authentication tools

Excellent management of assigned responsibilities, analytical, problem-solving and decision- making skills; verbal and written communication skills;
