We are looking for a seasoned HR leader with a strategic mindset to join my clients team as the Director of Human Resources.

This role is pivotal to ensuring our HR strategies align with their long-term business goals and support a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align HR strategies with company objectives and provide valuable insights to senior leadership on talent needs and workforce planning.
  • Oversee the development of recruitment and retention strategies that ensure we attract top talent and retain high performers.
  • Drive initiatives to implement training programs that meet the needs of our credential-focused, client-facing workforce.
  • Facilitate effective talent sharing and succession planning, ensuring cross-office collaboration and leadership pipeline development.
  • Cultivate an inclusive, positive work environment that fosters employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and policy compliance, and implement initiatives to enhance engagement and recognition.
  • Design and manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to maintain efficient payroll and benefits administration.
  • Oversee HR operations, including HRIS management, policy development, and records compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant employment laws and internal governance standards.
  • Lead DEI initiatives, promoting equitable hiring, development, and leadership opportunities.
  • Track progress on DEI goals and report outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to support smooth transitions during organizational changes.
  • Act as a guide for managers and employees, helping them adapt during restructuring or mergers.
  • Utilize HR metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and optimize processes.
  • Regularly report key HR metrics to inform data-driven decision-making at the leadership level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; professional HR designation (e.g., CPHR) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in an HR leadership role, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex HR concepts into actionable insights.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a strong asset.Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment and travel occasionally as needed.

On offer is a competitive salary between 130-150 K plus bonus plus benefits and 4 weeks of vacation.
