About your next Challenge as Pricing Analyst :
L3Harris MAPPS is seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst who will be responsible to develop and analyze potential cost requirement for proposals.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who collaborates cross functionally with a variety of individuals across the organization.
Must be able to effectively interface with senior levels of management. The ideal candidate has a passion and ability to focus on the important business details.
This is a highly visible role and has the ability to drive change and create value for the organization through insightful analysis and actionable recommendations.
What You Will Do :
- Contributing, from a pricing perspective, to the development and execution of a cost proposal plan;
- Compiling cost elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements;
- Developing an understanding and ability to implement and mentor internal cost proposal processes and procedures as well as external Government contracting regulations to co-workers and internal customers;
- Conducting proposal analysis and providing recommendations leading to a current complete and accurate cost volume;
- Working with other functional areas in presenting cost proposal data for approval to functional as well as executive level management;
- Interfacing and supporting both internal and external customers in support of post-proposal submission audit, fact-finding, and negotiations;
- Acquiring and executing expert level knowledge of internal estimate gathering and pricing tools. Use that knowledge in an administrative role to support system users;
- Utilizing advanced Microsoft Office skills to produce meaningful cost models and accurate, timely reports.
Required Skills and Experiences :
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred) or equivalent experience in the financial arena;
- 4 or more years of financial analysis, pricing, or program finance / management experience in the defense industry preferred;
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel required;
- Must be able to multitask and function in a fast paced proposal environment and collaborate with Business Development and Proposal teams to develop pricing and win strategies while ensuring compliance and schedule adherence;
- A demonstrated ability to articulate oral and written communications to individual contributors, management up to and including corporate executives, and customers;
- Verbal and written communication in both French and English.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2 / NATO Secret security clearance;
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
