EBCis actively seeking an experienced Scheduler / Planner for ourVancouver Civil division where he / she can utilize their extensiveknowledge to contribute to the continued success and growth of theorganization.

The successful candidate will be stationed at theVancouver office or a project site in British Columbia. TheScheduler / Planner will be responsible for project scheduling andplanning updating the schedule monthly providing the monthlyschedule narrative and supporting the development of claims forextension of time and integration of contract changes into theproject schedule.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Abilityto populate the schedule with resource and costinformation;
• Updatemaintain and revise monthly and weekly schedules and reports withthe constructionteams;
• Compareand report on comparisons of monthlyschedules;
• Performany changes delays and / or accelerations to a specific constructionsection / WBS;
• Identifywarnings and risks to the project for the purpose of mitigating theimpact of theserisks;
• Analyzemonthly schedules and prepare reports for the purpose of disputeresolutionissue;
• Interactwith project team and task managers to define scope of work todevelop and update detailed schedules cost information andidentification of variances from originalplan;
• Evaluateproject schedule progress and performance and identify developingproblemareas;
• Analyzecritical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes toschedule and recommendworkaround;
• Performother duties asassigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or anyrelateddiscipline;
• ProfessionalCertification : P.Eng PMP and PSP would be considered anasset;
• Minimum3 years experience in heavy civil or general engineeringconstructionrequired;
• Minimum15 years of related ConstructionPlanning / Scheduling;
• Experiencein Project Controls Engineering / Procurement / Construction / SystemsSchedulingrequired;
• TILOSLinearSchedule;
• Proficientuse of Primavera P6 software Trimble TILOS and Microsoft OfficeSuite;
• Abilityto read and interpret constructiondrawings;
• Experiencein Tunneling and typical linear civil construction projects is anasset;
• Adaptableand flexible to an everchangingenvironment;
• Excellentboth oral and written communication skills inEnglish;
• Abilityto work underpressure.

• TILOS Linear Schedule; Proficient use of Primavera P6 software,Trimble TILOS, and Microsoft Office Suite; Ability to read andinterpret construction drawings;
• Experience in Tunneling andtypical linear civil construction projects is an asset; Adaptableand flexible to an ever-changing environment;
