Summary:
We are looking for an operator to support our Thin Film (Clean Room) department as part of the Production Team.
Responsibilities:
1. Sputtering, dicing plating and sawing electronic components through use of a microscopes according to drawings and specifications
2. Measure and record resistance, gold thickness of components, store after completion
3. Prepare for chemical patterning operation, develop pattern on wafers according to specifications
4. Perform deposition of films on wafers
5. Dice according to setup machine specification, inspect to ensure compliance
6. Bake and inspect components to ensure quality compliance
7. Set up process equipment and adhere to ESD Procedures and clean working practices
8. Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools
9. Inspect electronic components and assemblies to ensure correct components selection and placement, wiring
10. Check final assembly for finish, labelling and packaging methods
11. Check mechanical dimensions and perform “go-no-go” electrical tests
12. Collect, record and summarize inspection results
Education and Experience

Skills/Requirements
1. Experience in reading blueprints an asset
2. Know military and industry quality standards
3. Familiar with ESD and clean room electronic industry practices
4. Excellent hand/eye coordination handling electronic components using microscopes
5. Must have ability to work with hand, small tools, and microscopes
6. Able to work effectively in a team environment
7. Must be able to work with chemicals
8. Able to operate computers and other machinery as required
