Job Summary
As a Receptionist / Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact for Hospital clients and patients. As the first point of contact our reception team welcomes clients positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Highest Priority Key Responsibility
- Updating patient records
- Answering phone calls
- Calculating billing amounts
- Explaining medical procedures
- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately.
Second Highest Priority Key Responsibility
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Communicates and documents actions and changes amongst team and with clients. For example, changes in schedules.
- Directs clients and patients to the appropriate veterinarian and exam room.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls and messages.
- Maintain self-serve appointment booking software.
- Order front office supplies and maintain stationary inventory.
