Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer

Overview

Location : Canada (Vancouver Central Office or Remote Office Location). Core hours : Monday to Friday from 8am – 4 : 30pm PST. This position is Remote under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, with work primarily from a home office and occasional in-person attendance. Role

Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer. You will work with our team of developers and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement new features and functionality for our platform, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance. You will have a strong background in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development and will be responsible for developing and maintaining our cloud-based e-commerce platform. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Salesforce Platform & Data Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements and development work specific to Salesforce Commerce Cloud
• Collaborate with stakeholders, design and UX to gather requirements and design features that meet business needs
• Build and maintain integrations with other systems (e.g., payment gateways, tax systems, Salesforce Order Management System, Salesforce Loyalty Management System)
• Develop and maintain customizations such as product configurators, pricing rules, and promotions
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and design patterns
• Code review and approval of consultant and peer development code
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure scalability, security, and performance
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and trends in e-commerce and cloud computing
