Operations Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Job Description

Job overview :

The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of production activities. He / she supports the manufacturing teams by coordinating operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. He / she acts as a point of contact between production, logistics, maintenance, and management to maximize the overall efficiency and performance of the plant.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate daily plant operations and optimize productivity with field teams.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage raw material inventory with the logistics team (adjustments, research, etc.).
• Support SAP operations (PO creation) and cover for the team during vacations.
• Actively participate in the OHS committee, audits, accident investigations, and OHS training.
• Manage PPE (inventory, training, compliance).
• Coordinate OHS training and procedures for production employees.
• Promote communication between production, maintenance, logistics, and administration.
• Support the integration of new employees and follow up on action plans.
• Serve as backup production supervisor during scheduled absences to maintain smooth operations.
