New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Manager to help our client prepare for go-live of a key software solution at additional sites.
The system has been installed previously at other sites, and this project will continue the rollout.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare for go-live to coordinate Go Live Support
- Liaise between the Program Workstreams / Domains and Site equivalents and SMEs
- Assess project go live needs from a technical, clinical, and business readiness perspective and support go-live activities to meet the Program strategic goals
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies and process improvement
- Develop material for, and hosting demos with, different stakeholder groups, as required
- Provide regular status reporting to Program leadership, as required
- Ensure appropriate documentation is organized and can be easily audited
- Proactively identify and escalate risks and issues to the Senior Project Manager as they arise
- Ensure all change requests are documented to ensure efficiency
- Develop material for and host demos with different stakeholder groups, as required
Requirements :
- 5+ years recent experience in Healthcare with a particular focus on IT systems and operational support
- 10+ years’ experience in managing projects to implement business systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Experience or knowledge of Meditech Expanse, Clinical Device Integration, Jira
- PMP certification is an asset
- Experience in BC Healthcare preferred
- Experience in large organizations preferred
- Experience with large-scale clinical transformation and / or clinical information system implementation is preferred.
