Job Description
New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Manager to help our client implement an HCMS SaaS solution to replace the current system.
Although the new solution can provide a variety of features and functionality, the main focus will be on Core HR, Payroll, and integration to the WFM solution.
Responsibilities :
- Development of the plan for project delivery :
- Creation of a detailed schedule
- Breakdown of responsibilities among project personnel
- Ensure the right resources are available and allocated to tasks as needed
- Identify relationships, connections and collaboration points between internal and external resources
- Ensure the new system integrates seamlessly with other HR and financial systems
- Develop test plans in collaboration with SI, FH SMEs and other stakeholders as needed
- Establish and oversee cutover plans
- Ensure hypercare and post-go live stabilization plans in place and resourced
- Perform regular go live readiness assessments
- Validation of the change management strategy created through the current Pre-transformation project with inputs from FH’s Change Lead
- Review, update and manage project budget
- Execution and monitoring of the implementation plan :
- Plan, execute and distribute communications and other project related information
- Manage stakeholders’ expectations
- Report on performance, budget, schedule, meeting minutes, decisions, outcomes, risks and other such requested reporting requirements
- Provide regular project progress / status reporting to sponsors, steering committee, and project stakeholders / groups
- Escalate issues / changes out of the PM authority (e.g., scope changes) to sponsors / steering committee as required
- Perform risk management, including but not exclusive to, risk planning, identification, risk analysis and risk responses
- Oversee and track defect resolution and reporting during testing periods
- Liaise with the client's WFM and SI Project Managers to ensure alignment and communication of common direction and interrelated tasks and deliverables
- Liaise with the Change Lead to ensure readiness assessment, communication (planning), resistance management and training / new system adoption are considered
- Project closing documentation, including lessons learned, RACI, SLAs and Knowledgebase Articles
Requirements :
- 9+ years of experience with Project Management
- Knowledge of HCMS, WFM systems, HR and Payroll processes.
- Experience with HCMS, WFM and / or HR systems, specifically with cloud-based multi-tenant environments
- Experience working with Integration platforms
- Experience implementing SaaS solutions
- Health care experience preferred
- Experience developing and executing project plans with complex data integrations
- General knowledge of HR Information Systems and operations preferred
- Experience in multi-collective agreement and complex labour relations environment preferred
- Experience presenting to stakeholders and executives

The hourly rate range for this position is $85 - $, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
