Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Chief of Staff to lead key hospital initiatives and support executive leadership.
The incumbent must have a strong background in hospital operations, performance management, and transformational leadership.
The Interim Chief of Staff will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the hospital and will be instrumental in driving operational excellence across clinical and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to implement organizational change across departments, ensuring that hospital processes, patient care, and workforce operations are improved to meet strategic goals.
- Drive digital transformation projects, integrating advanced technologies to streamline hospital operations and enhance the patient experience.
- Develop and manage systems for evaluating the performance of physicians and nursing staff, ensuring that healthcare standards are met and addressing areas for improvement.
- Oversee the coordination and management of Pharmacy Services, the oncology department, and other clinical initiatives, ensuring alignment with hospital priorities and objectives.
- Serve as a key liaison between hospital executives, clinical leaders, and external stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and ensuring that hospital-wide goals are met.
- Ensure the smooth operation of daily hospital activities by addressing administrative or operational challenges, allowing the executive team to focus on strategic decisions.
- Support the CEO and senior management by developing operational plans, managing resources, and monitoring progress on key projects and initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, working with department heads to ensure that hospital objectives are understood and executed at all levels.
- Monitor and assess hospital performance metrics, using data to inform operational adjustments and to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chief of Staff within a hospital setting is mandatory.
- Strong track record of leading transformational change within healthcare organizations, including managing complex clinical and administrative functions.
- Extensive experience in digital transformation initiatives to streamline healthcare operations and enhance patient care.
- Demonstrated success in physician and nursing performance management, ensuring high standards of care and staff development.
- Experience overseeing Pharmacy Services, clinical projects, and oncology department initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a confidential and fast-paced environment, providing interim leadership while maintaining organizational stability.
