Job Position : DZ Drivers
Pay Rate : $22+ HST
Responsibilities :
- Delivering items in a safe manner to and from predetermined destinations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Communicate with dispatch or customers regarding any delays, issues, or changes in delivery schedule
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any mechanical problems or damages
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during deliveries
Requirements :
- Valid driver's license.
- Must have 3 years of Canadian experience as DZ driver.
- Must have insurance letter from insurance company.
- A clean driving record.
- Proven experience driving heavy-duty trucks.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- The ability to concentrate for extended periods.
- The ability to utilize GPS devices and road maps.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
