Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a IT - Solutions Developer I for their Toronto, ON / Hybrid location.
Responsibilities
- Write, test and debug code according to specifications provided by senior staff.
- Participates in code reviews.
- Contractor will escalate unresolved issues to senior staff.
- Ensure consistency in coding standards.
- Ensure required documentation is housed in the project repository and that knowledge transfer has occurred to full time staff upon completion of contract term.
- Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation as required.
Requirements
Experience working as a Developer with Html / CSS and JavaScript coding with the ability to code with good quality (Need to be able to Code / update code / code from scratch).Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic, MS Access, and MS Excel.Knowledgeable in using built-in browser dev tools to understand web site API methods.Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with SQL Databases.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are an asset.Computer Science DegreeExperience working in an Agile operating model using JIRA / Confluence would be beneficialReviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.Works under immediate supervision.Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.Typically reports to a project leader or manager.A vacancy exists for a junior developer to join the team in the delivery and development of this project and to eventually contribute to future enhancement, support and maintenance post-delivery.Must have prior experience in a developer role with hands on coding experience code and development exp , VBA, SQL, JS, HTML, CSS, SharePoint Personable personality that will fit into the team , interactive focus.Team player .May require an associate's degree in a related area and experience in the field or in a related area.Why Should You Apply?
