DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Hadoop clusters, Cassandra, and enterprise-level infrastructure automation. This role involves Level 3 support, troubleshooting complex issues, and building scalable solutions for large banking environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, hands‑on experience with Linux systems, and proficiency in cloud technologies and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for Hadoop clusters and related components.
• Analyze logs, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes without relying on predefined scripts.
• Configure and set up Hadoop components and ensure optimal cluster performance.
• Work on CI / CD pipelines within the bank’s infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Red Hat Linux systems and related OS-level configurations.
• Develop and modify Salt scripts for environment provisioning and configuration management.
• Collaborate with teams to implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Support migration and integration of Hadoop clusters into cloud environments (Azure preferred).
• Participate in problem‑solving sessions and provide technical solutions for complex issues.
