Job Description
Deliver solutions quickly and effectively.
Document the company’s existing systems design and technology portfolio; make recommendations for improvements and / or alternatives.
Confer with end-users, clients, or senior management to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development.
Integrate networks, including WAN, LAN & Security technologies and their associated software into enterprise systems.
Ensure system connectivity and availability of all network components.
Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
Provide technical assistance during all project phases of the standard Project Management methodology.

Provide technical assistance with projects during all project phases of the standard Project Management methodology.
Formal Education & Certification
College diploma or university degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
Certifications in Cisco, Fortinet, or similar technologies are an asset.
Knowledge & Experience
5+ years' work experience, manufacturing industry experience is an asset.
Hands-on experience with business requirements gathering / analysis.
Solid grounding in core enterprise network technologies, including Cisco, Fortinet, SD-Wan.
Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including routing / switching, security, packet captures, firewalls, and more.
Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
