Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including : experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role
We’re looking for a Claims Assistant II to join our growing team in the Litigation Management Department.
As a Claims Assistant II, you will be assisting with ensuring legal invoices are accurately satisfied and with the management of our billing portal.
What You’ll Do Here :
Assist our department, claims handlers and external legal firms with questions or assistance they may need in relation to legal accounts, our billing platform or any of the objectives of the Litigation Management Department
Requisitioning funds to ensure accurate and timely payments in compliance with Intact’s service level expectations
Work in collaboration with members of the Litigation Management team, assisting with the management of our litigation billing portal
Support the Managers and Director of the Litigation Management Department with special projects and assignments, as needed
What You Bring to the Table :
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Positive attitude while adapting to changing priorities and taking ownership of work
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with our various partners
Highly resourceful, able to work independently, create solutions and use good judgment
Comfort using desktop software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint is a plus) and email (Outlook)
A College Diploma or University Degree, or equivalent experience
