Reporting to the Global Director Product Lifecycle Strategy, we are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Project Manager, Product Lifecycle to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing product development projects from conception through completion.

The Project Manager, Product Lifecycle, will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of successfully managing product development projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities & Duties :

Planning

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product development project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and adjust project plans as needed to accommodate changes in scope, resources, or timeline.

Resource and Risk Management

  • Work closely with product managers and the R&D team to allocate and manage resources effectively.
  • Communicate risks and mitigation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure successful project outcomes.

Communication and Reporting

  • Lead project review meetings with project stakeholders
  • Facilitate clear and open communication within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project status updates, and key milestones to project stakeholders, including senior management and project teams.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports, highlighting key metrics and milestones.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders. Actively engage, listen, and address concerns to foster collaboration and trust.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or administration or other relevant field and pertinent experience in project management.
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2, is an asset
  • Five (5) years’ experience in product development project management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical devices company
  • Experience working with Project Management software (Wrike considered an asset)
  • Excellent communication skills : Fluent French and English (oral & written) required. This role will manage project for employees in the USA.
  • Strong listening skills, very customer focused.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions and drive project success.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams to achieve goals and objectives.Proven abilities to apply good judgement, ethical practice, and decision-making skills.
  • Detail oriented, ability to apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Available to travel occasionally.
