About the Role
We are looking for a Hydrogen & Electrical Engineer to design, simulate, and integrate electrical power, control, and avionics systems for hydrogen-powered UAV platforms. This role focuses on electrical architecture, power electronics, control systems, and system-level simulations across energy and propulsion subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical architectures for hydrogen-powered UAV systems
- Engineer power distribution, control, and monitoring systems
Perform system and subsystem simulations , including :
Fuel cell power and control subsystemBattery management and energy distribution subsystemElectric propulsion and motor control subsystemAvionics and communications power and signal interfacesDevelop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logicIntegrate embedded systems, sensors, and control interfacesSupport testing, commissioning, and troubleshootingImplement functional safety, redundancy, and fault detection conceptsEnsure compliance with applicable electrical, aerospace, and safety standardsProduce technical documentation, test procedures, and reportsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline5+ years of experience in electrical or power systems engineeringStrong background in power electronics, controls, and instrumentationExperience with electrical system simulation and modelingKnowledge of UAV avionics or propulsion power systemsProficiency with electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, MATLAB, or similar)Strong analytical and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications
Experience with hydrogen fuel cells, battery systems, or electric propulsionFamiliarity with aerospace electrical standardsExposure to model-based design and simulationSeniority level
