Reesink Canada has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll & HR Administrator

This is a Contract Position for up to 18 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll, administering benefits programs, and providing exceptional customer service to employees.

If you have experience with Payworks and or have experience with an implementation of a new payroll system this may be a position for you!

Must be able to be committed to being onsite.

Responsibilities included, but are not limited to, assisting with :

  • Each team member is expected to contribute to the culture and profitability of the company daily by adhering to core values and holding others accountable to do the same, following company policies, and seeking to fulfill the company’s mission and vision through efficiently performing key responsibilities and goals based on role and department.
  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and timely.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, among other.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the administration of HR programs and policies.
  • Ensure data accuracy in our HR systems.
  • Support the HR team with ad-hoc projects as needed.
  • Maintain & pay all sales commissions.
  • Complete employee verification requests.

Necessary Skills :

  • 5 years of experience.
  • Ready to take on the new challenge of building this department with us.
  • Maintains an extremely high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Ability to catch on quickly and thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Industry knowledge, specifically in human resources, benefits, and / or software, is a big plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently.
  • Collaborative, positive attitude, and self-motivated.
