Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Manufacturing Area Manager to oversee operations within our client’s 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) site in Ajax, ON. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing operational performance. Ideally, you will have a strong background in manufacturing, logistics, and team leadership within a fast-paced 3PL environment. Responsibilities :

Responsible for effective organization of the work of subordinate employees

Management of the working time of subordinate employees, application of the internal management rules

Responsible for the work and safety of subordinate employees

Responsible for motivating subordinate employees to improve work efficiency and look for all potential operational improvements

Ensure the subordinate employees are properly trained on operations processes as well as safety processes.

Ensure the application of all processes in the related area

Control efficiency & Quality of their Team and Implement Improvement Plans together with Supervisors

Qualifications :

5+ years in manufacturing, logistics, or operations management within a 3PL or high-volume distribution environment.

Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. (MBA is a plus).

Strong track record in leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, high-performance setting.

Expertise in process optimization, Lean / Six Sigma methodologies, and performance management.

Proficiency in WMS, ERP, and data-driven decision-making tools.

Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP certifications are an asset.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
