Overview
As our Operations Leader in Regina, you’ll have the opportunity to build a legacy in the region. You have an eye for detail and a desire to go above and beyond to enable your team to be set up for success.
This role focuses on delivering business results, enhancing client relationships, and strengthening business community connections - while empowering you to drive local sales and marketing efforts.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you’ll start with a team of 8 how you grow from there is up to you.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Develop Your Team
- Recruit, coach, train, and develop staff to ensure a high-performing team.
- Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
Deliver on Renewal & New Business Targets
- Manage staff production and performance, including regular 1 : 1’s and hosting Team Meetings
- Work with the appointment booking team to strategically book & forecast appointments
- Work with staff to overcome membership concerns & escalations
- Oversee the training and development activities of team members
Develop and Maintain Strong Member Relationships
- Build and nurture relationships within the local business community.
- Address Member needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products to Members.
- Continuously seek ways to improve service delivery and Member experience.
Drive Business Growth
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- In collaboration with the marketing team, strategize and implement plans to drive business growth within the Regina region.
- Plan and execute local sales and marketing activities.
What you Will Bring
Experience :
- Leadership with professional services teams, ideally within tax or accounting.
- Proven success in business growth, sales, and marketing.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Experience in staff recruitment, development, and performance management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain productivity and efficiency in a deadline-driven business
- Proficiency in tax preparation & accounting software, preferably with Tax Prep and Xero.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset.
Other Requirements
- Ability to meet with Members, attend events, and participate in leadership meetings.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for out-of-town travel. While most trips will be day trips, some overnight travel may occasionally be required.
