THE OPPORTUNITY
The Part-Time Music Teacher is a brass or woodwind specialist with a passion for working with young musicians at The Sterling Hall School (SHS). They play a key role in supporting the music department by providing both classroom instruction as well as one-on-one teaching in support of providing the highest standard of education to all our students. Reporting to the Vice Principal of Operations, the Part-Time Music Teacher is responsible for teaching woodwinds, brass and rhythm section instruments to beginner and intermediate musicians.

As elementary school specialists, we support boys in developing their interests, character, strengths, and leadership skills during their formative years. Our dynamic educators teach JK to Grade 8 students using proven learning strategies designed for boys, including internationally acclaimed programs and research-based approaches. Each boy is supported in all aspects of school life as he develops and discovers his unique interests and love of learning. With an enrolment of over students and a low student-to-teacher ratio, our academic specialists are able to facilitate how each boy learns best.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
Position Type : Part-time (50%), Permanent
Location : 99 Cartwright Avenue, Toronto
Salary Range : Based on salary grid comparable with ETFO schools
