The Joint Cannabis is Canadian cannabis retailer with over ten years of experience and 15+ locations across multiple provinces and growing!

In Saskatchewan, we currently operate 7 locations :

  • 55-1244 Baltzan Blvd, Saskatoon
  • 622 Circle Dr E, Saskatoon
  • 1216 Idylwyld Dr N, Saskatoon
  • 80-3030 Meadows Pkway, Saskatoon
  • 196 Massey Rd, Regina
  • 926 Victoria Ave, Regina
  • 420 Centre St, Assiniboia

As the Saskatchewan Regional Manager, you will be responsible for oversight and support for all 7 Saskatchewan locations.

You will be the main liaison between the Saskatchewan Teams and Head Office.

Qualifications of a Regional Manager

  • Self motivated individual who can be successful in a fast paced environment, with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes in work-load and requirements
  • Be a strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Has strong organizational skills, is able to manage large amounts of information
  • Holds yourself to high standard of integrity
  • Has a positive and impactful personality
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a Lead by Example mentality
  • Must be able to travel between Saskatoon, Regina, and Assiniboia
  • Has experience with opening new locations
  • Has experience managing multiple and / or remote locations

The Role

  • Provide support to the 7 Saskatchewan locations
  • Being the key contact and resource for the Saskatchewan teams
  • Disseminate information and guidance provided by Head Office to all locations within the region
  • Guide, mentor, and manage lower level management and team members
  • Assist / engage in employee recruitment, onboarding, promotion, retention and termination activities
  • Uphold and enforce all compliance and regulatory requirements of the Cannabis industry as outlined within the Federal Cannabis Act and Provincial Cannabis Regulations
  • Uphold company standards across all areas of operations
  • Evaluating and Reporting to Head Office on store and individual performance
  • Implement new policies and procedures on a regional wide basis
  • Uphold consistency across all locations within the region
  • Identifying hiring and needs, assisting in the hiring & onboarding process
  • Timecard upkeep and scheduling
  • Requirements :
  • Must be 19+
  • Must be 19+
  • Must be able to obtain Current & Valid Saskatchewan CannaSell certification
  • Must be able to obtain Current & Valid Manitoba Smart Choices Cannabis certification
  • Must provide us with a current Criminal Background Check
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and access to vehicle
  • Must be available to commute between all 7 Saskatchewan locations
  • Must have Retail Management experience leading and managing multiple, diverse teams across a region
  • Must have experience remotely managing teams
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
