Summary

The Project Manager’s mandate is to serve the company’s strategic vision and deliver critical projects by contributing directly to Client Experience and Operational Excellence - for and throughout the organization.

Reporting to the Director of Programs, the project manager role will work most closely with cross-functional stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the leadership team, to drive projects across planning, operations, and delivery processes leveraging professional oversight, expertise and experience.

As a primary custodian of the organization’s Project Management Information System, the Project Manager must diligently document, track, measure, and communicate project updates, details, dates, deadlines, and KPIs to successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

Understand SOW requirements, assumptions, constraints of projects, and program

Develop Project Management Plan identifying all key project milestones

Setup ERP for tracking of project tasks, labour, and material costs as required

Establish project tasking system to ensure project deliverables are being measured

Lead Project Kick Off Meetings to ensure all cross functional teams know their role

Identify Project risks and exposure, plan for contingencies

Lead Client Kick Off Meeting utilizing the developed Project Management Plan

Monitor the Project Scope per original SOW / ContractAttain client approval for all change requests / scope creep

Monitor cross functional teams task completion per the Project Management Plan

Manage risks exposure and contingency plans as required

Measure project costs, schedule performance, and key milestones completion

Maintain and manage an issue log; capturing lessons learned

Lead stakeholder relationships and client communications

Requirements

Undergraduate Degree

2-3 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs and assets

General management skills across product, supply planning, sales, marketing, logistics, warehousing, human resources, and accounting domains

Experience managing constraints: scope, schedule, cost, and quality

Strong interpersonal skills: emotional intelligence, motivation, communication, influence, leadership, negotiation

Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, with sharp attention to detail

Nimble and willing to take initiative with prevailing positive attitude & adaptability
