As the Compensation Consultant you will provide input, analysis, support and recommendations on programs such as employee incentive and annual salary increase cycles.
The role focuses on the research, analysis, design, development and implementation of integrated Compensation policies, programs, processes and tools that align with and support our Compensation Philosophy and Business Strategy.
How you will create impact :
- Providing compensation support and solutions to business partners on specific compensation topics, restructures and systemic issues, including identifying gaps and providing new solutions.
- Recommending and implementing compensation programs and practices to achieve strategic objectives, including design, data and cost analysis.
- Creating and improving job and organization designs through standardization and approaches to align with best practices.
- Facilitating and recommending communication and collaboration actions, tools and activities to effectively support the implementation of compensation changes.
- Co-lead projects, aiding in escalations for issues and gaps, and validating job evaluations to ensure effective implementation of new programs, tools and resources.

To join our team :
- You have five years of experience in Human Resources including Compensation experience.
- You have a post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or in a related discipline.
- You have or are working towards the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation(s).
- You have working knowledge of Compensation and Incentive plans, including processes and tools, job evaluation theory and Compensation legislations.
- You have working knowledge of the insurance industry, key metrics, business drivers and strong financial acumen.
What you need to know :
- Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
- You will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
- This position primarily works with majority non-francophone groups, and teams located outside of Québec, and requires proficiency in English.
The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.
