We are looking for a Manager, HR Systems and Data to join our People Function team. This role is accountable for the maintenance and delivery of the People Systems roadmap in Canada.

The incumbent will be an individual contributor and report directly into the Vice-President, People Operations.

What you’ll do :

Partner with the Global People Systems and the People Function Teams to develop and implement secure automated solutions to streamline People Function processes as needed such as Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance & Talent Management, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Case Management and other employee data management processes.

Responsible for data security and data loss prevention through People Systems, reporting, data sharing and system integrations.

Deliver on data governance roadmap and ensure data quality processes, end to end records management, standard operating procedures and risk and control framework is developed and maintained to Aviva standards.

Lead the intake of global and local projects and initiatives that impact systems, and data management processes and work with the VP of People Operations to prioritize, enlist and engage required resources to deliver.

Lead and project manager on system releases, system improvements and related systems projects that impact People Function;

follow local and global IT change and release management and systems testing protocols and processes.

Data Privacy lead for People Function.

Sophisticated reporting for the People systems; maintaining scheduled future processes for reports and integrations for Aviva Canada.

Ensure accurate payroll, tax and benefits processing through regular data integration audits.

Manage the day to day systems operations by mentoring team and business members on functionality, issue or case resolution and escalation and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Develop, review or approve solution documentation, including but not limited to Business Requirement documents, Functional Specifications, Test Plans / Scripts, Project Plans, Issue Logs, Job Aids.

Manage relationships with external and technical support vendors.

Local system business process configuration and annual system maintenance.

Deliver brilliant customer experiences dealing directly with internal / external teams.

What you’ll bring :

University Degree in a related field (Such as Computer Science, Information Systems or Human Resources) or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.

Demonstrated ability (5 or more years) with the Cloud HCM systems, preferably Workday, with previous support experience and technology solution implementations.

Experience in HR service delivery design / management using employee experience platforms like Service Now / Other.

Experience with content development and management for technology-enabled processes, training and communications.

Good judgment, strong analytical mind and problem solving / troubleshooting skills.
