Position Summary

The Toyota Certified Technician diagnoses problems, performs repairs and provides preventative maintenance service on material handling equipment at a customer’s site.

Qualifications

Education & Work Experience

College diploma and / or completion of a trade school certification or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years’ experience as an auto, forklift, heavy equipment or truck and coach mechanic. A valid driver’s license is required.

Experience repairing Toyota Products preferred. A valid driver’s license and provincial propane license (ICE-IE-P or ICE-P) are required. Power Lift Truck License (PLT) is preferred.

Working Conditions

A Toyota Certified Technician will work in a variety of environments depending on customer facilities such as a warehouse, shop, parking lot etc. Including varying temperatures and subjected to dust, dirt, grease and noise levels ranging from moderate to loud. Frequently works in a crouched position or on back lying on mechanic’s dolly beneath motor vehicle equipment. Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
