Job Title : Telecom IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) Technician
Location : Toronto, ON
Type : Contract 3 to 6 months
Other : Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
Our client is seeking a Telecom Technician to assist with a 3 to 6 month project. The role has the potential to become a permanent role after the initial contract for the right candidates.
Responsibilities :
- Support call center activities / requests, implementations, administration and troubleshooting of Meridian 1 systems, Symposium Call Center Server, and Call Pilot.
- Install, change and move equipment and cables for voice communications & control and implement these installations, changes, and moves.
- Understand and adhere to configuration standards for sites Canada wide.
- Coordinate other support resources, i.e. vendors, business units, second level support.
- Utilize the voice network management systems to monitor critical and non-critical services to support and respond proactively and resolve system flagged problems including collaborating with the appropriate vendors.
Qualifications :
Working knowledge of all Nortel Networks telephony architectureWorking knowledge of call centre environmentsWorking knowledge of Meridian (PBX, CallPilot, Symposium) phone systemsKnowledge of phone hardware and connections;PC literacy and familiarity with MS WORD and EXCEL;
