You Will
- Drive large‑scale, complex, cross‑functional programs from design through delivery.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Security to define scope, value, and technical requirements, securing commitments across organizations.
- Orchestrate planning, prioritization, and execution, managing the integrated program plan and timelines across disparate functions.
- Proactively identify and resolve risks, dependencies, and impediments, clearly communicating trade‑offs and solutions to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships, serving as the central point of contact and providing consistent transparency into program goals, progress, and quality.
- Energize cross‑functional teams to achieve ambitious objectives and uphold world‑class operational excellence and security standards.
- Develop broad technical and domain knowledge to effectively influence strategy and decision‑making.
Qualifications
5+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a software, SaaS, or systems development environment, with a focus on cyber security.Track record of collaboration in order to manage and successfully deliver large‑scale technology programs.Excellence in identifying and managing risks across multiple technical projects.Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams.Ability to clearly communicate and establish credibility with technical and non‑technical stakeholders, including executive audiences.Ability to influence and work through others within a matrix organization.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, especially in a remote environment.Passion for understanding ambiguous, complex problems and driving high‑quality, innovative, and robust solutions.Experience with agile and other program management methodologies.Strong attention to detail and focus on execution in a data‑informed environment.A passion for enabling teams to adopt, manage, and optimize processes and tooling.Education and Training
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field.PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent.CSM, PSM or equivalent.Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in San Francisco Bay Area. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between : $104,000–$156,000 CAD.
