Description :
Working under the supervision of Professor Gretchen Kerr, the successful applicant will assist with the leadership of a number of research projects designed to prevent and address athlete maltreatment in sport.
Assistance will take the form of contributing to the implementation of research studies including writing ethics protocols, developing recruitment strategies and tools, supervising the collection of data and data analyses, contributing to the writing of reports and peer-reviewed manuscripts and guiding students in their writing components, preparing presentations and public reports.
These research projects will involve both qualitative and quantitative modes of inquiry and analyses. This role will also involve mentoring graduate and senior undergraduate students who will be assisting with the running of these research projects.
Education :
PhD in Kinesiology, Education, or Health-Related Field;
Experience :
Prior research experience; prior experience leading a research team;
Other :
The skills required for this position include : Project management, excellent oral and written communication skills, expertise in qualitative or quantitative methods;
Rate of Pay : $62,000 - $80,000 (depending upon experience)
Position Start Date : July 15, 2024
Position End Date : July 14, 2025 with possibility of renewal
Work Arrangements : Mostly remote with regularly scheduled in-person meetings with supervisor and research team
