Civil Project Manager

We’re looking for a skilled Engineer and Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you’ll take on diverse engineering assignments that require a strong understanding of your discipline and how it connects with others. You’ll play a key part in solving complex challenges, interpreting client requirements.

What You Will Do

• Manage select projects under the guidance of senior staff, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
• Assist with various tasks and projects assigned by supervisors or senior team members to support the overall success of the engineering teams and company objectives.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to our company's values of quality, client focus, teamwork, sustainability, and community, integrating these principles into daily work practices and interactions with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Actively participate in industry and community organizations, including attendance at events.
• Perform responsible and varied engineering assignments, applying comprehensive knowledge of a specific engineering discipline and its impact on other disciplines.
• Solve problems using a combination of standard procedures, modifications of standard procedures, or methods developed from previous assignments.
• Interpret customer requirements, investigate design and field engineering difficulties, and coordinate work schedules.
• Consult with suppliers independently to secure appropriate procedures for projects.
• Contact approval agencies and clients as directed by senior engineers.
• Participate in planning to achieve prescribed budget, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Prepare progress reports, recommend changes in designs, estimate costs, and recommend payments for completed work.
• Maintain knowledge of related architectural and engineering disciplines.
• Refer unusual problems to senior engineers or specialists.
• Contact associates in other departments to discuss and advise on project requirements.
