This is an overnight awake position. The Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment (HART) Hub is a newly funded program aimed at addressing critical health and social needs in our community. The HART Hub will support individuals experiencing homelessness and addiction, offering services that include addiction treatment, housing support and collaborative care. The Supportive Housing program is part of Housing Services and provides varying levels of support to tenants. The Wellness Worker will provide support to individuals in the program and complete regular rounds of the property and buildings.
Two positions are available : one full‑time role, and one casual / relief role. Full time role is 37.5 hours per week (Sunday to Tuesday from 10 : 00 pm to 8 : 00 am and Wednesday from 10 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am) with paid sick time, personal days, vacation time; group health benefits and a defined contribution pension plan. The casual relief role works on an as‑needed and as‑available basis, with the requirement of working at a minimum of three shifts each month and is provided with 2 paid personal days and enrolment in the Employee and Family Assistance Program.
Successful completion of a Police Records Check (Vulnerable Sector) is required pre‑employment in each role.

All compensation ranges are categorized under a series of ‘grades’. The rate of pay will consider past related experience.

Min : $22.40
Mid : $25.65
Max : $28.90
