Job Description
ADGA is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst to execute the yearly functional areas listed in the FPG (Functional planning Guidance) and campaign plan.
The Senior Business Systems Analyst should have extensive experience specializing in business case analytics, which would help identify the prioritization of the Cyber Mission Assurance (CMA) Program capabilities in conjunction with the CMA Campaign plan, and Functional Planning Guidance.
The consultation support of a Senior Business System Analyst will help achieve the CMA business plan item : to CONCEIVE & DESIGN Critical OT Systems Cyber Resiliency Risk Assessment Proof of Concept.
Tasks for the Senior Business System Analyst may include, but are not limited to :
- Identify and develop candidate processes for automation for Cyber and JCIS capabilities;
- Develop and document a detailed statement of requirements for the proposed alternative recommended in the business case analysis for a particular project;
- Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows;
- Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, application subsystems, and develop a data dictionary;
- Define and document interfaces of manual-to-automated operations within application subsystems to external systems, and between new and existing systems;
- Identify candidate business processes for re-design, prototype potential solutions, provide trade-off information and suggest recommended courses of action.
- Identify the modifications to the automated processes;
- Support and use the selected departmental methodologies;
- Brief senior management; and
- Perform other tasks as a Senior Business Systems Analyst as needed.

- The Senior Business Systems Analyst must clearly demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of combined experience, within the last 15 years, performing business analysis of functional and non-functional requirements to identify all of the following :
- Business Requirements;
- Procedures;
- Methods;
- Subsystems;
- Interfaces;
- Prototypes; and
- Decision Flows.
- The Senior Business Systems Analyst must clearly demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience,
within the last 10 years, developing detailed
statements of business or operational requirements.
- The Senior Business Systems Analyst must clearly demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of combined experience, within the last 15 years identifying viable business / operational system solution options and recommending a course of action.
- The Senior Business Systems Analyst must clearly demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of combined experience, within the last 15 years developing process analysis, functional specifications and non-functional specifications to support the development of automated business processes.
Nice to Have
A degree from a recognized university in the sciences,
engineering or information management, or
A diploma (minimum 2 years) from a recognized college in
the sciences, engineering or information management.
A minimum of 3 years within the last 10 years, conducting
interviews and workshops with both business and technical communities.
