Communications Associate

On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Communications Associate.

Communications Associate – Job Description

Work closely with the Wealth Advice Colleague Experience team to develop a variety of communications and content for Wealth Advice conferences, including conference remarks for senior leaders and other presenters

Lead communications strategies and tactics for the Private Investment Advice, Private Investment Counsel and Wealth Insurance businesses that are relevant and engaging for colleagues

Create high-impact communications for colleagues that leverage best practices and use a variety of tactics and mediums (written, intranet, video, virtual and face-to-face), ensuring consistent messaging and communication methodology.

Regularly advise key stakeholders and leaders on how communication plans are being implemented and identify opportunities to leverage learnings.

Act as the communications lead with project teams, providing strategic counsel and sound communications advice and regularly advising partners of communication strategy status

Work with communication colleagues across Wealth to identify efficiencies and build these into business-specific content for employee communications

Contribute to the development of standards for content : look & feel, tone, focus, audience relevance, etc.

Communications Associate – Mandatory Skills

5+ years related communications experience, preferably in the wealth industry

Ability to produce professional messages that are tailored to audience needs and support the overall success of the Wealth Advice business

Exceptional writing, editing, proofing and presentation skills, with an ability to synthesize and summarize details quickly and leverage the power of words in a variety of media

Strong attention to detail and ability to convey a tone, voice and style that reflects and reinforces the Advice brand

Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take on complex initiatives and multi-task, managing multiple timelines, stakeholders and relationships

Confident in your ability to deliver results within aggressive timelines

Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing and ambiguous initiatives or requirements

Solid knowledge of social media, SharePoint and MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and teams)

Experience working with Upper manager to convey various messages

Communications Associate - Nice to Have Skills

Bilingual English / French as asset
