Specialty Positions - Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster

Only candidates with the qualifications noted below will be considered. Please do not apply to this posting unless you hold the specialty qualifications noted.

The Waterloo Region District School Board is inviting applications for its Occasional Teacher Roster from candidates who hold Primary / Junior or Junior / Intermediate qualifications, along with one or more of the additional qualifications listed below. Applicants must be in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT), with these qualifications clearly noted on their OCT certificate.

French as a Second Language - Part 1, 2 and / or Specialist qualification

Teaching Students Who Are Blind / Low Vision - Part 1, 2 and / or Specialist qualification

Teaching Students Who are Deaf / Blind - Part 1, 2 and / or Specialist qualification

Teaching Students Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing qualification

If you are an existing WRDSB Elementary Occasional Teacher with qualifications identified above, you DO NOT need to apply to this posting. Current WRDSB Secondary Occasional Teachers with these qualifications wishing to transfer to the Elementary Occasional Teacher Roster may apply, however if successful you will be removed from the WRDSB Secondary Occasional Teacher Roster.
