Responsibilities
- Work closely with Partners and Managers on resource planning, deployment, and scheduling of engagements
- Analyze and recommend staffing decisions based on engagement risk, skills, timing, continuity and geographic considerations
- Manage staffing conflicts with all relevant parties, providing alternative staffing recommendations and escalating issues, as appropriate
- Maximize utilization by identifying imbalances and negotiating and reallocating resources
- Participate in the orientation of new hires by providing an overview of the staffing process and operating model
- Liaise with client-serving professionals to determine development needs and identify engagement and learning opportunities, as appropriate.
- Maintain the employee list within the assurance practice including all levels.
- Keeping track of assurance employees’ vacation days and sick leaves.
- keeping track of study leaves for employees completing their CPA, i.e., coordinating their leave and their return to work.
- Actively support performance management initiatives, learning and development planning
- Assist with reporting including utilization performance, forecasts and capacity management.
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in a professional services environment is preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to be open minded, practical, and adaptable to change.
- Superior attention to detail and communication skills are required.
- Strong leadership image, impeccable ethical standards and integrity, objectivity, confidence, and dedication.
- Ability to quickly learn new software.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
