Integration Developer – Hybrid Contract

Insight Global is seeking an Integration Developer to join a large insurance client on a hybrid contract starting February 2nd (with flexibility to start earlier). This role is critical to ongoing proof‑of‑concept (PoC) initiatives, where the developer will integrate third‑party cyber risk assessment tools with internal systems, validate vendor solutions, and design high‑level API integration logic. The successful candidate will split time between two PoC projects, ensuring seamless connectivity, secure coding practices, and technical documentation to support enterprise modernization.

Base Pay Range

CA$60.00 / hr - CA$66.00 / hr

Location : Calgary OR Toronto - Mandatory 2 days on site / week

Contract Type : 6 month contract (high possibility of extension)

Day‑to‑day Responsibilities

The developer will integrate with Guidewire PolicyCenter and CyberHub, configure products to handle JSON / XML data formats, and ensure outputs align with business rules. They will also be responsible for sandbox integrations, troubleshooting issues, and validating whether PoC solutions meet enterprise needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integration logic for PoC projects.
• Document integration flows, mapping decisions, and technical design.
• Serve as vendor API connectivity lead and data validation point of contact.
• Integrate with Guidewire PolicyCenter, CyberHub, and other internal systems.
• Configure and manage JSON / XML data handling and transformation.
• Perform sandbox integrations, troubleshoot, and validate PoC solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure coding and data integrity.
• Maintain technical documentation to support enterprise modernization.
