Required immediately, our Victoria Branch is seeking a Full Time Laminate Countertop Installer or Contractor.

The successful candidate will have :

• Have related education and / or previous experience in a similar industry
• have experience in construction, masonry or trades
• Basic understanding of plumbing an asset
• Basic math skills
• Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Be able to lift upwards of 100 lbs. assisted
• Work with a team and make sound decisions
• Have valid driver’s license and clean criminal record

Duties and Responsibilities

• Correctly install laminate surface tops on site, while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Cleanly remove the existing countertop and plumbing if required
• Install new plumbing and sinks when required
• prepares templates for laminate orders when required
• Respond to customer inquiries and / or concerns while on the job site
• Contacts office to resolve any concerns that cannot be addresses on the job site
• Troubleshoots technical problems related to the installation as they arise
• Works as closely to the schedule as possible and contacts customer if running behind
• Maintains company vehicle interior and exterior to the Companies standards
• Regular bending, kneeling and twisting
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Regular local travel to clients homes and occasional out of town work
• Other duties as assigned
