We’re looking for a Senior Learning Strategist to join our growing team!
As a Senior Learning Strategist , your work will have a big impact on the achievement of our goals. People will count on you to critically analyze training needs to establish the most effective learning strategies for our education programs with measurable performance outcomes.
You are a dependable partner who can successfully apply proven learning and development best practices to complete projects in a timely manner. You are open and collaborative to be part of a team that is expanding and undergoing changes. You are focused on performance, organizational objectives, and people. This is a full-time permanent position located at any Intact office across Canada.
What you’ll do here :
Analyze training requests to determine the specific training needs.
Establish measurable learning objectives and the best training strategy to achieve the designed learning outcomes.
Propose effective and innovative development strategies centered on the needs of the learner and the organization.
Manage large-scale training projects and be the point of contact between all parties.
Plan the project journey, and communicate and collaborate with all necessary stakeholders throughout the duration of the project.
Develop the training architecture, support the development of training, provide reviews and revisions, and seek approval from the relevant stakeholders.
Identify evaluation metrics and follow up on the achievement of learning objectives.
Keep up to date with industry best practices, the latest trends in instructional design, technology and training.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Adult Education, Education Technology or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5-7 years experience working in learning and development.
Strategic mindset with a proven track record of building relationships, building business acumen and delivering complex initiatives with success.
Strong accountability, adaptability, problem-solving skills.
Comprehensive knowledge in adult education and adult learning theories.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism (English / French) is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
Knowledge of the insurance industry is an asset.
