Job Description

Brock Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Software Deployment Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing, optimizing, and automating the deployment of mission-critical software solutions for airlines and airports worldwide. Given the specialized nature of the aviation industry, the ideal candidate must be a fast learner, capable of acquiring niche domain knowledge while applying a strong technical foundation in software deployment. This position requires a keen problem-solving ability, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to ensuring the seamless operation of aviation systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Deploy SmartSuite Enterprise products to Production on premise and cloud servers using Microsoft DevOps technology
• Use SQL Server and the web client to configure the application based on the client's needs
• Test the client's workflow to make sure the system is configured correctly
• Help troubleshoot application issues affecting our clients
• Work with great clients from all over the world!

Qualifications Required:

• Diploma or Degree from a post-secondary institution in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical fields
• We will also consider candidates with a diploma or degree in other fields, in combination with technical skills and experience
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to technical concepts, even without a formal technology background.
• Customer satisfaction-focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of high-availability models and technologies is an asset.
• Basic understanding of messaging queuing protocols (WebSphere MQ, MSMQ, Rabbit MQ, etc.) is an asset.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud-hosted SaaS models is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed for project deployments and customer support.
